Ryanair will continue to charge for printing the boarding pass
Occasionally, low cost flight companies are a great choice when traveling for business advantage while utilities that other companies do for free. Ryanair charges 40 euros for printing boarding passes at the airport, according to the Audience Provincial de Barcelona will continue to do so as the final decision rendered on October 5.
The ruling has given reason to the Irish company guaranteeing low cost model of the company and that “with this method, the company streamlines the process of loading, plus get cost savings by avoiding the office and print cards by the personnel board. “
Thus, it is estimated the appeal filed by the airline against the decision of the Commercial Court No. 1 of Barcelona, which declared invalid by abusive contractual clause which requires the passenger to print the boarding pass if you do not want to be punished. The resolution says it is “a covenant protected by freedom of contract, of which the passenger is sufficiently informed.”
While Ryanair will continue to charge for this service, one of the judges believe that companies are forced to give the passenger a boarding pass and also considers disproportionate punishment of 40 euros as it is sometimes even higher than the price of the same Ticket. The vote against the magistrate failed to change the sentence.
