Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
Like the scientific revolutionary idea, has become synonymous with the Galapagos Islands, which can inspire to think differently about the world. Nowhere else you will see extraordinary animals, including giant tortoises. I can not help thinking you’ve stumbled into an alternate universe, some strange utopian colony organized by sea lions (the golden retrievers of the Galapagos) and arranged on the principles of mutual cooperation.
This is not the Bahamas, although some of the ships that sail these islands will resemble a Caribbean luxury resort, and these are not paradises of the Pacific, in fact, most islands are devoid of vegetation and are more like Hawaii moon. There are more people living here, most people who visit more than 30,000 and the population is growing, and for such i SLAs isolated from earth over 1,000 km from mainland Ecuador, there is a surprising level of development of course, most of which are aimed at maintaining a thriving tourist industry.
