Taj Mahal – The great monument to love
This great mausoleum was built by the Muslim emperor, Shah Jahan, in honor of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died giving birth.
Like every monument has its meaning this is so, in which Taj Mahal means “The Jewel in the Palace”. Considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world because this is the masterpiece of Mongolian architecture which sets it apart for occupying one of the seats among the seven wonders.
The monument to love was built between 1631 and 1654 in the city of Agra, India, on the banks of the river Jumna, the temple includes certain elements of Islamic architecture as well as Persian, Turkish India to even be said that the construction of the temple 20,000 men were employed, the beautiful and clever queen Mumtaz Mahal, also called “Light of the Palace”, who was also a faithful adviser of her husband who died in the last of his birth after having had fourteen children, the emperor Shah Jahan fell into a terrible depression which immediately began construction of the Taj Mahal as a last tribute to the person he loved.
Legend has it that Mumtaz Mahal itself would have asked her husband is her deathbed to construct a building which symbolizes his love for this building is needed to bring materials from many countries, among them was Saudi, Egypt, and Tibet, also in many parts of India. At the entrance we can see, there is a caravanserai for the rest of any tourist, too, an immense sandstone cover that opens onto a flower garden with shrubs and cypresses, also with marble pathways and a lily pond where we can see the beautiful building.
For its size Taj Mahal is so well-crafted and delicately wrought finish and gives the feeling that even you would be treading the soil in the terraces on all sides have been two identical super-mosques but these were intended to be for a worship and the other for a warehouse. the construction of the octagonal building is made of white marble attached to the carved gemstones in coral flowers with quotes (Muslim).
