Need a business-friendly accommodation near Bologna’s Exhibition Center? The Hotel Fiera Bologna is close to BolognaFiere, Bologna Palazzo Comunale, and University of Bologna. The hotel has great business-friendly features such as a complimentary breakfast and complimentary parking for guests that make the property an excellent value for money. If you stay there, you’ll be just 3 kilometers from the city centre with public transport available. The hotel does state that air conditioning is only available only from 5:30 pm till 08.30 am in the rooms, lobby and restaurant.  Not exactly a welcoming idea in the sweltering summer but the rooms are very inexpensive so you have to decide this one for yourself.

The Hotel Fiere Bologna is a far cry from the business-friendly Torino hotel accommodations I’ve stayed in. The Hotel Urbani is a great business-friendly Torino Hotel because it’s a quiet, well placed, extremely clean hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet and the air conditioning isn’t limited. Everything was clean and although this isn’t a luxury hotel by any standards, it has everything you need if you’re on a business trip.

It’s difficult to find a decent Italian hotel which caters to business travelers and is affordable. While the country has plenty of gorgeous hotels for those on holiday, the business hotel choices are somewhat lacking in Italy.
